Unit 7 Chinese festivals

教材简析:

本单元的话题是中国的传统节日。教师可结合五上Christmas引入,课前可要求学生搜集一些关于中国的传统节日的信息,包括日期、食物和风俗习惯等,为课堂教学做准备。本单元的词汇除了节日名词和食物之外,还包括十二个月份,教师可帮助学生复习季节类和星期类的词汇。为了方便教学和操练,师生可准备日历本。

本单元的句型有两个,都是一般现在时态,一个是用来表达节日的日期,一个是用来描述人们在不同节日里的常见活动和庆祝方式。

教学目标:

教学重难点:

1.句型:The spring festival is in January or February. People eat dumplings at this festival.

2.语音:字母组合th在单词中的读音。

教学内容

Story time

教学目标:

1. 能听懂、会读、会说节日单词:Double Ninth Festival, Dragon Boat Festival, Mid-Autumn Festival, Spring Festival.

2. 能听懂、会读、会说不同节日的传统食物和活动。

3. 能正确的理解并朗读课文,在教师的引导和帮助下尝试复述课文内容。

教学重点难点:

能正确理解并朗读课文,在教师的帮助下尝试复述课文。

教学准备:

教学光盘、课件、图片

学生上网了解中国的传统的节日

教学步骤:

Step1: Greeting

T: Good morning, Boys and girls.

Step 2 Pre-reading

1、T: do you like games? So first, let’s have a climbing race:

(PPT竞赛目标) Be a good reader、Be a smart listener

、Be a nice partner、Be a cultural learner,Are you ready?

2、Guessing topic ( 猜主题 )

T: Listen to a poem and some pictures, try to guess: What topic are they about?

Listen to a Chinese poem(九月九日忆山东兄弟)

Pictures about some traditional food.

Some interesting pictures.学新词

Step3:while-reading

1、Listen and tick

T: Do you want to know something more about Chinese festival? Listen to the tape and circle the Pictures about the Chinese festivals you heard.

The Spring Festival( ),      the Dragon Boat Festival( )

The Mid-Autumn Festival( ), The Double ninth Festival( )

2. Scan and underline

T: Well done, Now open your book, and read the text quickly, try to underline the time of the Chinese festivals.

The Double ninth Festival   October or November

3.  Quick respond

王老师的教学方法灵活,新单词呈现形式多样。应该说整堂课中,在引入新词时,都是比较自然,而且具有生活化的。还注意利用图片,课件,身体语言,表情动作等作为教学资源,创设讲解,操练和运用英语的情景。张老师能贯彻以学生为中心的原则,关注教学过程,尽可能发挥学生的主体作用,让学生真实的去感受知识,体验知识,积极参与,努力实践,在活动中学会用语言表达交流,较好的体现了从不懂到懂,从不会到会,从不熟练到熟练的过程。另外,在教学中还体现了一个“放”字。即教会学生阅读的方法,让学生学会阅读。采用泛读和精读的方式,整个教学过程始终围绕这几个问题 When is the festival? What do people do at this festival? What do people eat at this festival?展开讨论。

在本课时的教学中,王老师把四段文本转变成了四个对话。学生对对话更感兴趣,并且也没有太多的抵触感。在教学的过程中,这些中国传统节日的朗读和拼写还是存在一定的问题的。如Dragon Boat FestivalDouble Ninth Festival等,学生在朗读和拼写上存在一定难度,需要多注意。同时,本课时的教学内容中,一些名词的复数也是要特别注意的。
