Unit 5 Helping our parents

第一课时

教学内容:

Story time

 

教学目标:

1. 能听懂、会读、会说单词:parent, clean, cook, sweep, busy, wash .

2. 能听懂、会读、会说日常用语:what are you doing? What is he/she doing? 及回答。

3. 能正确的理解并朗读课文,在教师的引导和帮助下尝试复述课文内容。

4. 能初步运用本课所学的词汇和句型询问别人正在做什么。

情感目标:

培养学生在生活中乐于助人的情感。

教学重点和难点:

教学重点:能正确理解并朗读课文,在教师的帮助下尝试复述课文。

教学难点:能初步运用本课所学的词汇和句型询问别人正在做什么。

Teaching procedures 教学过程:

Step 1 Greeting

1. Watch the cartoon about housework.

2. Introduce each other.

T: I’m an English teacher. But I’m very busy at weekends. I always do housework.

Teach: busy

(In the morning, I go to the market to buy some vegetables some meat, some fish and so on. Then I cook lunch. In the afternoon I always sweep the floor and clean the windows.)

Teach: sweep the floor clean the windows

Look, I am sweeping the floor now.

Look, I am cleaning the windows now.

(3). T: Do you often help your parents do housework at home?

S: Yes!

T: What housework can you do? (鼓励学生用英语或汉语表达)

S1: I can… (出示词汇和图片, 生自由表达,根据学生回答随机教学关于家务劳动的新词汇:wash clothes, wash the dishes, make the bed, sweep the floor, clean the windows/car/table/doors, cook rice/breakfast/lunch/dinner.)

T: You can do so many things. How about our old friends?

Step 2 Presentation Dialogue1

1.Let’s review 

Show the picture of Mike. Talk about Mike.

Q: Who is he?

Where does he live?

How does he go to school?

How many people are there in Mike’s family?

2. T: Here’s a picture about Mike’s family课文左图. Look, they are busy.

What can Mike and Helen do?

S1:…

S2:…

3. New sentences:

Mike is cleaning the car.

Helen is sweeping the floor.

They are helping their parents.

(1). Read after the teacher.

(2). What can you find?

前面有be动词,后面动词就加上ing,这样的句型叫做正在进行时,表示某人正在做某事。

(3). Ask and answer.

What is Mike doing now ?

What is Helen doing now?

What are they doing now?

4. Look at the picture carefully. Try to answer.

Is Tim helping his parents? Why?

Who is sleeping too?

Where’s Mike’s father? What’s he doing?

Where’s Mike’s mother? What’s she doing?

5. Let’s watch the cartoon, and then underline the answers.

看卡通,检查学生看图回答的是否正确。

6. Read by yourself and complete the form.

3. Look at the picture and try to retell.

Step 4 Try to say.

Look, it’s seven o’clock in the evening. What are Mike and his family doing now? Expand your imagination.
